Claspex

US brands · US workers

Cut and sew you don't have to manage.

Claspex is not a listing board. We supply the sewing pattern, certify every maker on the exact garment they'll sew, inspect every piece, and hold your payment until you confirm the delivery.

No listing fees. You pay when you approve a quote.

What Claspex handles

The parts that usually go wrong

Every item here is a place production breaks down when a brand and a factory are left to work it out between themselves.

  • We supply the pattern

Pick category, fit and garment. The matching graded pattern appears and you confirm it. You are never sent away to source one, and the maker never redrafts from scratch.

  • Fabric and labels, if you want them

Order fabric and woven labels through us, or send your own. Either way the consumption is calculated per size from the pattern, not estimated from an average.

  • Makers certified per skill

A worker is not certified in general. They are certified for a specific garment on a specific machine class, reviewed by us, and only then can they see that work.

  • Every piece inspected

Not a sample from the top of the box. Every unit passes QC before it ships to you.

  • Your money sits in escrow

You pay up front and we hold it. Nothing reaches the maker until the order is complete and you have confirmed it.

  • One quote, itemised

Fabric, labels, labour and fees are listed separately with the rates they were calculated from. Every figure is frozen when you approve.

For brands

How an order runs

  1. 01

    Describe the run

Category, fit, garment, and a quantity against each size. Choose whether we supply fabric and labels.

  2. 02

    We price it

You get an itemised quote showing consumption per size, the labour minutes, and every rate used.

  3. 03

    Approve and pay

Approving freezes every rate on your order. Later price changes cannot reach it. Payment goes into escrow.

  4. 04

    A certified maker claims it

Your order opens to workers certified for that exact garment and machine. One worker takes the whole run.

  5. 05

    Production, QC, delivery

You can see where it is at every stage. Every piece is inspected before it ships.

  6. 06

You confirm, the maker is paid

Funds release only after you confirm the delivery.

Pricing

You see the whole quote, or it isn't a quote

Our fee is 25% of labour only. It is never charged on your fabric, your labels or the order total. Here is a real breakdown in the shape you would receive it.

Example quote

Boxy tee · oversized · 300 units

Escrow held

Itemised example quote for 300 boxy tees
Line How it was calculated Amount
Fabric 399.10 m × $8.25/m $3,292.54
Labels 300 × $0.85 $255.00
Labour 14 min/unit × 300 × $0.55/min $2,310.00
Platform fee 25% of labour — not of the total $577.50
Materials handling 8% of fabric and labels $283.80
Total $22.40 per unit $6,718.85

Fabric is calculated from the pattern's consumption at each size you ordered, then adjusted for waste — not from a flat per-unit average. Illustrative figures; your quote uses the rates current on the day you request it.

For cut-and-sew workers

Steady work, and you get paid.

No bidding against the lowest price, no chasing an invoice. The brand's money is already held before you cut anything.

  • Certified on what you actually do

Get certified per garment and machine class. Send us your fashion qualification, or book an in-person sewing test. Adding a new skill later never affects the work you are already approved for.

  • The pattern arrives with the job

Graded pattern, per-size consumption and tech notes, all supplied. No redrafting, no guessing at yardage.

  • Paid on completion

Payment is held in escrow from the moment the brand approves the quote, and your share is fixed when you claim the order.

Applications are reviewed by a person. US workers only at launch.

Origin

Sewn in the US. We tell you where the fabric is from.

Every worker on Claspex is US-based. When we supply the fabric, its country of origin is recorded on your order and shown on your quote, so you can make your own labelling decisions with the actual facts in front of you.
